Influences
L'associaton "le Chaudron Magique" a été créée en 2005, avec pour but la création musicale mélangeant l’acoustique et l’électronique.
Composé de musiciens, compositeurs, graphistes et créateurs vidéo, cette mixture de compétences à fait naître cette association, symbole d’un mélange culturel et d’une ébullition créative éclectique.
Reggae, dub, hip-hop, electro, drum&bass… Malgré leurs différences, toutes ces influences trouvent finalement une unité dans nos compositions.
En parallèle du développement de notre expérience de la scène, la rencontre avec le «Burn Crew Concept», association parisienne de jonglerie enflammée, a permit la mise en place de nombreuses soirées et prestations live où musique et chorégraphie se complètent pour réveiller les sens du spectateur…

Duck - Logical Fallacy, Duck's second album released on Fresh Poulp Records

After his first album "One Way Out" released in 2006, Duck collaborate to Dubosmium's remix album "Green Element" and more recently to Octopus Two compilation, with the hit " CF Underworld ". This track is now the album opener for this second release " Logical Fallacy ". 15 new energetic, emotional tracks, between electro dub, hip-hop and drum'n'bass. Dub Tentacles Vol. 1, new dub compilation released on Fresh Poulp Records
Click on image for download. Since the early days of the label, Fresh Poulp wishes to produce and release a 100% dub compilation. To be part of a planetary dub adventure by presenting an active and international (South America, North Africa, Middle-East, Asia, North America & Europe) display of this vast musical community. This is now done with "Dub Tentacles", the first release in a long series of thematic compilations dedicated to dub music. This first one features a special track from Dubosmium (probably one of the most famous artist from our netlabel) with JSD, singer from Dubzoic (an italian band also part of the album – and future member of Fresh Poulp). Dub Tentacles is a true invitation to travel through music : With enjoyable stops in Brasil, South Korea or Turkey and unexpected calls in Israel, USA, Portugal and even Poland, you'll finish the journey 11 station later in France, with Le Chaudron Magique.

Pix is back with his third LP "Désillusions", with 16 new tracks between abstract Hip-hop and contemplative IDM. Closer to "Life Living" than his previous opus "Multiple", it brings a brand new version of his smashing hit "To Begin Again" (Fresh Poulp 's most downloaded track), renamed "Simplement vivre" (to live, simply). Pix invites us to a cinematic journey, with a lot of ambients and images, but also lyrics, with raps from Solistose (from parisian band Bazarsonik) and Pix himself.
