Hailing from the Croatian Electro City, Le Chocolat Noir is blending music under the heavy influence of various musical styles, evoking a feeling of melancholic electro-disco with acid-house, pop and industrial flavours. His live acts are 100% hardware based.
LCN is also known under his DJ alias, YAS. Spinning since the start of the Millennium, YAS gives no compromises with his crossover selection of primarily DISCO and ELECTRO vinyl, past & future, pop & underground.
With residency at several clubs (Sirup Zagreb, Skwhat Sisak, Channel Zero Ljubljana) and events (QUEER Zagreb), YAS continues to bring quality club sound to Croatia and the surrounding regions, not following trends and developing a unique and solid sound. YAS/LCN was also guest at:
EXIT FESTIVAL (Elektrana stage 2005-2008), SPACE IBIZA (We love..at Caja Roja, 2008), Bootleg DJ Cafe (Rotterdam, 2008), K4 (Ljubljana), Torture Garden Zagreb and a number of venues in Budapest, Berlin, Belgrade, Sarajevo, London, Split, Zagreb..
On stage with: Legowelt, Luke Eargoggle, Rude 66, I-F, Orgue Electronique, Mr. Pauli, Polygamy Boys, Sneak-Thief, Sendex, Alden Tyrell, Psyche, Lesbians On Ecstasy, Terrence Fixmer, Manasyt, Bangkok Impact, Anthony Rother...Yas was also promotor and organizer of club events Soba 23 and Electro City.
His DJ mixes were played on Intergalactic FM, Cybernetic Broadcasting System (CBS), Welt am Draht and the Ministry of Sound Radio. He was as well the guest of the Twen FM from Berlin and legendary Radio101 from Zagreb.
YAS is a member of Florence Foster Fan Club (FFFC), a fruitful electronic body project, together with Zarkoff.
