About LechovitZ

LechovitZ started of in the late 80's with a band called Damned don't cry, (named after a song on the second album by Visage). A four piece band influenced by punk, wave and funk. After a mood swing the bands initials "DDC" were transformed into Ducks don't cycle. In this period they recorded 1 album (Amazing discoveries) and delivered 1 single called "Suzan", backed up with a cover version of the Prince track "When doves cry". After 4 years the band split up and LechovitZ continued as a solo artist. At first in a traditional way of writing pop songs using only real instuments. Inbetween he was involved in a side project with the name L-star, producing laid back instrumental popmusic, but it never passed the demo stage. 2 years later he found his way into computers. Influenced by all kinds of music the songs started to turn more into musical pieces than songs. A development which led up to a next level. In 2002 LechovitZ composed "Riverside" a 30 minute piece which formed the base of a firework display in the centre of Shanghai (China). The close collaboration between Lechovitz and a pyrotechnical team led up to a magnificent display of sounds and vision. LechovitZ was also involved in a nine days music and firework extravaganza in the Nagasaki area of Japan. Myspace Contact Tables

Here an impression of creating a display in Shanghai. Shame i am not in the pictures but, someone had to take them. We worked for 3 days to get it all into place. All of this just for a 30 minute display, but it was worth it. "Riverside" was voted best musical score of the festival. Giving confort, keeping in mind that total preparation took more than 9 months.

henny	Apr 17 2009 7:27 PM heey goedeavond Jeetje hé is het alweer zo lang geleden dat ik hier langs kwam, sta er zelf van te kijken bij me laatste bericht aan ya. Ook ben ik weer ff op ya site zelf geweest, tegenwoordig is ik makkelijk kan ya comments sturen zonder naar de site te gaan,maar goed ya site ziet er erg mooi uit en ya music erg rustgevend heerlijk gewoon is wat ik laatste tijd toch weer ff nodig heb. En wauw wat een schitterend mooi foto slide..... Wanneer ben ya daar geweest dan? Hoe is het verder bij ya? Hier alles zijn gangetje hoor, erg druk met me werk, heb meer verantwoordelijkheid gekregen, ik leid nu de afdeling waar ik werk en dat is dus ook de mensen aan het werk zetten en de hele dag helpen hen wat doen we hier mee hen wat kost dit ect ect. Full color on the front, color printing on the cd, and duplication, with the black(more durable) cd/ dvd slim cases. They are only $1.50ea! Anywhere from 10 to 1000.
