In 2007, the city of Sydney celebrated "Earth Hour" by turning off their lights in the entire city for 1 hour. In that one hour, the City’s electricity usage was reduced by 5%. Thats the equivalent of taking 48,000 cars off of he road!!!! Its amazing how much good we can do for our environment ... just by shutting off the lights an extra hour a day. Imagine if we all did it. Imagine if we all just took small steps towards conservation.
