Who could forget indeed. Thursday night at Hemingway's, we happy few witnessed (dare I say it?) the future of rock and roll, possibly the future of civilization itself. The inspired guitar work of Alex and Konrad (I will say what we all were thinking: Konrad's talents are simply wasted in that other band he plays in). The sublime bass artistry of John "Fat Fingers" Kearney. The drumming of ....the drummer. There are simply no words to do justice to the vocalizations of those two angelic songbirds: Laurie and April. The angelic chorus was missing their soloists last night. I have seen the future and its name is 'Lectric Mayhem' (not to be confused with Muppet rock band of coincidentally similar name).
