hey! so sorry I never replied to the last msg I got. Was I talking to Dee? you're coming back to Sydney?
Anyways, I think I should ask what Le Culte means!
I have a drawing I could contribute, where do I send it so you can have a look at it? And I was thinking of doing a page with short reviews/recommendations of one of each: gig, theatre, literature, 3 great songs & art. Or whatever I can fit nicely onto a page. Sounds ok?
oh and (i'm bombarding you with questions I know!)- is the magazine free? or are we gona start selling them sometime, I mean, to cover the cost of printing.
the other fanzine is great too! I have to say, in Le Culte, the "make the call" page is eerily reminiscent of the Horrors...idiosyncracy.
i'm a bit detached from the indie music scene since I saw Mercy Arms for the 3rd time at Club77 ages ago...but I've looked into other things like 80's goth-rock & experimental/performance type weirdo bands, reading, theatre, film prosthetics and hardcore music (the last one won't be of any use to the fanzine i'm sure LOL). I would love to contribute if you find any of those topics useful!
Have you guys heard of Shake! ? they're a sydney band- darkly fashionable bunch.
hey guys! i totally haven't kept in touch since the Hors Down Under fanzine #2, but you guys have been getting up to some really rad creativity! I love the 'rawness' of this self published music art & culture zine idea...& it looks like matay's figures are growing even longer legs LOL. I can imagine it one day being sold in that record shop on Enmore road or Polyester Books in Melbourne. I'll stay tuned!
