I'm Lori - married to (my best friend) Doug (24 years and still counting). I am a Stay at Home/Corporate Work at Home Mom. I also love to homeschool our special needs daughter. It's a wonderful accomplishment when she can do all the things that her IEP said she never would. Never say "NEVER". We have 4 children and 3 grandchildren. Our youngest daughter was internationally adopted.
I LOVE to make and design products!! I am getting ready to really GROW my company for 2009 - Direct Sales Consultants, Home Shows are being Booked and we are getting ready to attend Craft Shows and Expos - Whew! Exciting and Fun! I LOVE CHRISTMAS - it's my favorite time of the year!!!
I admit it...I am Addicted to STARBUCKS Coffee, especially Lattes. A few of my Favorites are Pumpkin Spice, Cinnamon Dulce, Caramel - just to name a few.
Who I'd like to meet: WOW...I have met many people in my life who have inspired me in one way or another, but I would LOVE to meet Reba (she is an amazing woman), Chonda Pierce, women who LOVE to decorate in a COUNTRY PRIMITIVE CHIC theme, Chicagoans (really anyone in the Northern IL area), moms who homeschool their special needs children, business women and moms, Christian authors or anyone who shares the same interests.
I am truly blessed with the gift of your friendship. I'm very sorry that I haven't been in touch like I should have lately. With all that has been going on with Winston I have not gotten too many chances to be online. The weeks have really gone by fast. I praise God so much that Winston is improving and is almost back to 100%. Hopefully everything will be back to normal soon. Thank you for understanding and continuing to be my friend. I miss you!
