WHAT THEY ARE SAYING....
"Awesome...simply awesome, If you want to book a Led Zeppelin tribute band and you want to be sure that they will blow you
away...book these guys. 3 notes into Kashmir the look on peoples faces was indescribable...I heard one of Kerrang! Roadies say say "Kashmir?...no tribute band ever does Kashmir...it's too hard!" You would never have guessed it...note perfect...and 'Robert Plant's'
vocals soared with such strength that Plant himself would be proud...and probably a little jealous!"" Kerrang! Radio
"Let's just remind ourselves of the original so we can just hear how authentic that was" Nicky Campbell, Radio 5 Live & TV Presenter
"It is the first time I have seen a tribute band and I have enjoyed it. I will come and see them again" Peter Grants Daughter In Law, Caroline
"Hi Paul I cant tell you how happy I am that you are having a tribute to John - If only everyone would! I wish you all the love and best in the world xx" Deborah Bonham
"These guys are an amazing tribute band to the Zep..." Luther Grosvenor/Ariel Bender - Ex Mott The Hoople guitarist, Ariel Bender Band
"I saw Zeppelin twice in the 1970s and this band manages a great re-creation of the look and sound. It is especially good to hear some of the less well-known songs again. It was a fantastic evening." Damian Green, Conservative MP
"Led By Zeppelin knew what they were doing.. I could easily have been listening to the real thing, it was THAT accurate.... they were excellent, faithfully recreating the Led Zeppelin magic.... definitely worth a watch...." Folkestone Herald
"It's not often you get a Led Zep tribute band with all of the necessary attributes - superb musicianship, accurate looks and stage presence.. I really felt like I was back at Earls Court in 1975" Steve, Kent Music Promoter
"I was blown away by the Led by Zeppelin gig last night! Seen the band a few times now and they just get better every time. Good mix of all the favourites plus some new lesser known album tracks which really impressed - how these guys manage to nail every feature of these songs, not to mention all the instrumentation, guitar/amp/effects settings etc, continually amazes me!"
"This amazing tribute band blows the likes of Led Zep Too and other so called Zeppelin tribute pub bands away....totally authentic and to the point. Well worth the £15 ticket price"
‘Led By Zeppelin' are the UK's Premier Led Zeppelin tribute band, and are based in Kent.
The band's newest recruit, drummer Dave Watts, is extremely authentic, and has got all of John Bonham's style and grooves nailed. He is an out and John Bonham fan, and we are very pleased to have him on board. Dave plays a John Bonham Ludwig Amber Vistalite kit, and it's his pride and joy..More info and pics of Dave will follow.
Iain Paul Cobby who plays bass, keyboards and acoustic guitar, is a fantastic all round musician who has quite easily settled in the John Paul Jones role and brings with him many years of valuable playing experience and knowledge.
Guitarist Paul Lawrence is an avid Jimmy Page fan, and plays a Jimmy Page signature Gibson Les Paul, Fender Telecaster with authentic B String Bender, Acoustic guitar, mandolin, and of course the expected violin bow, theremin and double neck guitar. Paul’s live sound is based around an authentic mid 70’s Jimmy Page sound with his own influences built in, as well as visually throwing the stage shapes that made Jimmy Page a guitar legend.
Marc Eden (our deputy vocalist) is a fantastic rock vocalist who bears a good resemblance to a young Robert Plant and has played the likes of the Isle of Wight and Glastonbury festivals in several other bands. His biggest claim to fame, however, came just a while back when he had a call from a management company to audition for Slash (ex Guns 'n' Roses) who was looking for a singer for his yet to be named Velvet Revolver project. Marc spent several weeks with Slash, Duff, Matt and Dave, and was described by Slash as "one of the greatest rock 'n' roll singers I have ever heard"

Led By Zeppelin give a fantastic tribute to the music of the great Led Zeppelin. The band prides themselves around being authentic in dress, looks and sound, and many of the tracks you will hear are based around Zeppelin live versions as well as studio versions. The band can offer a set that ranges up to 3 hours, and often includes an acoustic set, as well as the great tracks that have made Led Zeppelin the greatest four piece band ever to grace the music world. The band also like to play other Led Zeppelin numbers more known by die hard fans, such as 'Wanton Song' and 'Sick Again'.
Gigs have seen the band travel across the UK and included several small tours of the South West of England that were a huge success. The band has also played to several packed crowds at Kent's prestigious Leas Cliff Hall venue in Folkestone, and will be looking to return to the venue very soon. Discussions are also currently taking place with regards to gigs in Scotland, Malta and as far away as India.
2007 has seen the band finally start to get media recognition, particularly after a live interview and acoustic session for Radio 5 with Nicky Campbell.
The band has also been selected to peform a one hour set for Kerrang! Radio, which will be recorded (and filmed) for broadcast along with interviews with the band on Monday 10th ..he same night as Led Zeppelin's reunion gig. The band are very proud to have been the tribute act which got picked for this.
