Collecting Led Zeppelin and related ephemera especially live concerts (the more esoteric the better), Music of all types (except smooth "elevator" pseduo-Jazz and poppy Eagles/Jackson Brown-esque Country), Pro Wrestling (Japanese (especially NOAH) and old school territorial (like Florida in the 70s + 80s)), Politics, chasing p***y, playing with Cookie my neurotic crazy mutt.
Music
As you can tell by my profile name, Led Zeppelin is the center of my musical universe along with all the solo projects and related offshoots. I also enjoy any Zep covers I can find (great or cheesy) with the best being Dread Zeppelin. Among the different genres I love blues, rockabilly, straight-ahead jazz, English folk, "real" country (like Johnny Cash, none of that Shania Twain/Garth Brooks crap), rap (mostly stuff before the mid 90s) and some classical. Other individual artists include (but aren't limited to): The Band, The Who, Yardbirds, Frank Zappa, Jimi Hendrix, Pretty Things, Bad Company, Fairport Convention, Grand Funk Railroad, Jim Croce, Benedictum, John Coltrane, Sam Cooke, Miles Davis (pre-electric/funk/crap Warner Brothers periods), Beatles (Help! forward - UK versions of the albums only) Bob Dylan (except the "Christian" period), Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac (Peter Green years) + the Black Crowes.
Movies
Among my favorites are Network, All The Presidents Men, Monty Python + The Holy Grail, All Kevin Smith Films, Mel Brooks Films (although Dracula Dead + Loving It was kinda lame), Star Wars (1st Three Only), Lord Of The Rings Trilogy, Jackass I + II, Team America World Police, The Cook The Thief His Wife + Her Lover, World War II films (especially Stalag 17 + Patton), mindless 80s action flicks, screwball comedies, cheesy monster movies (Godzilla, Gamera, etc.) and anything lampooned on MST 3000.
Television
South Park, Family Guy, Boondocks, MST 3000 (RIP), Countdown w/ Keith Olbermann, Adult Swim, American Dad, Absolutely Fabulous, Iron Chef (original Japanese series) and sporting events. Sadly most TV sucks out loud - thank the deity of your choice for the 'Net.
Books
What's a book? I've always had a hard time cracking open a tome unless it is some sort of music-related biography. I grew to hate the "classics" during high school (English Lit junior year was especially painfull although I did like some of Shakespeare's comedies). Being a Zep fan I did read The Hobbit + Lord Of The Rings trilogy during a summer vacation and enjoyed them.
Heroes
The members of Led Zeppelin, George Carlin, Barack Obama, Mel Brooks, Kevin Smith, Keith Olbermann, Neil Rogers, Frank Zappa, John Coltrane, JFK, RFK, MLK, Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Paine + Tortelvis - the real King of Rock + Roll.

About me: Hi there fellow cyberspace traveler. Since you're here you obviously want to know something about me. I'm your atypical overweight, cynical and somewhat solitary forty-something tired of all the bullshit. I'm actually quite funny and personable once you get to know me but hate the drudgery of sifting through the mutants in society to get to those among us that I'd actually be interested in talking to. Hopefully this will lead to some meaningful friendships or quickies in a hotel...whatever works!
Who I'd like to meet: Jimmy Page + Robert Plant (I met JPJ twice), Levon Helm, Garth Hudson, Pete Townshend, Roger Daltrey, the members of Benedictum, Barack Obama, Jimmy Carter, Mel Brooks, Kevin Smith, Matt Stone & Trey Parker, Aaron McGruder, Seth MacFarlane, Christy Canyon, Ashlyn Gere, Nina Hartley, Dan Marino, Bob Griese, Dwayne Wade, Keith Olbermann, Neil Rogers (a quick hello, handshake and autograph at Specs with Bill Calder and Dion doesn't completely cut it), Stephanie Miller & the Mooks, Randi Rhodes, Kenta Kobashi, Dusty Rhodes, Ric Flair, the surviving members of Monty Python, the cast of Absolutely Fabulous, the cast of MST 3000, the Dixie Chicks + Brooke Burke to name a few.
