BIOGRAPHY
An entirely self-taught music producer and songwriter, Lee was born in London and has been writing and recording music since he was 12.
In 1995 he gained a reputation in Hamburg for his work with the British roots reggae duo Alpha & Omega. He was invited to Germany to work with several other reggae bands, and there met his partner Michaela.
Actuality was created whilst working as a producer in a studio in North Germany. It was recorded at his home entirely on 'old skool' equipment, without the use of a computer.
He gained critical recognition and some success with this largely instrumental cd, including radio airplay in Holland, Germany and Paris, and glowing press reviews.
Production and arrangement work for other bands and artists in Britain and Germany followed, before he was offered a licensing deal with Toryumon, a subsidiary of Sony. Lee's music has featured on many compilation cds. The Actuality album was recently released as a mail order cd or digital download by the online label www.imusiclabel.com.
In more recent years, he has returned to his life's passion, the writing and recording of songs, and his Life Is A Mirror album has just been completed.
Before moving to Hamburg in 2007, Lee lived with his artist partner Michaela by the sea in Cornwall, the most South-Westerly tip of England. Apart from making music, he enjoys cooking, wrestling with demons, being with friends, reading, clinging to the robes of angels and lying about on the floor.
