Carlisle born Lee Brennan teamed up with Spike Dawbarn and Jimmy Constable in 1995 to form the boyband 911. Whilst doing gigs around the country 911 signed a record deal with Virgin Records in 1996.
911 career finally took off and went from strength to strength, the band sold over seven million records, released four albums and had ten UK top -10 singles including a number one with 'A Little Bit More '. More classics soon followed, notably 'Party People ', 'The Journey', 'Night to Remember', 'More Than A Woman ' and the energetic catching and dance rhythmic hit 'Bodyshakin '.
The band was in great demand, their tours in the UK and Asia were a huge success. It was just after the Malaysia tour that 911 drained from gigging decided to call it a day whilst still at the top.
911 announced the rumoured split in February 2000.
Lee went on co-writing a couple of tracks with Howard Donald, ex 'Take That' star and has since written a few more songs including a number one for the boyband Blue 'If you come back'.
In late 2001, 911 had the opportunity to put together a theatre tour which culminated in the successful 'Reunited Tour'.
2002 brought the release of Lee Brennan's first solo debut single 'Turn it Around', an uptempo spirited pop song.
Lee followed with an acting career, he has played the role of Peter Pan in various Pantos around England.
In 2005 the band was invited to take part in ITV show 'Hit Me Baby One More Time ' up-staged to give bands a fresh shot at today's chart, 911 won a place in the final where they performed one of their many greatest hits - 'Bodyshakin ' and a cover version of 'S Club 7's' ' Dont stop movin''.
Lee is invovled in many projects at the moment he regulary rejoins with the band for gigs whilst persuing his acting career and songwriting.
