Texas Country with a Twist Releases CD
Austin, Texas - Lee County Line a high energy Texas country band's new CD features a wide range of songs with their own unique twist and original riffs.
Their originals are composed and written by four ambitious college age teens; Tanner McPhaul, Josh Murdoch, Wesley Colton and Taylor Yates. They perform their own music and over 70 covers
McPhaul is the founding frontman as vocalist and rhythm guitar. Live acoustic shows during the week is his full time job while he attends college classes to pursue a Major in vocal performance. "I'm passionate about music," McPhaul said," I really enjoy connecting with Lee County Line fans in a rare, personable way."
Murdoch is the founding drummer. He is also pursuing a college Major in the music field. He writes many of the band's songs and excels at songwriting.
Colton joined Lee County Line in 2007 as lead guitar. His animated performances and outgoing personality wows audiences.
Taylor Yates is the newest member of Lee County Line as the bassist. His previous experience in the Dallas music scene brings a new depth to the band's sound. Yates is focusing on music in college as well.
"Music is our life!" Yates said. We all live together, so that we can be in constant collaboration." Their little free time is spent out dancing or attending live performances by other bands, he added.
"What an unexpected treat, my wife and I visited Coupland for the first time and got to listen to this outstanding and talented group. I am flabbergasted to learn they are still teens (or at least close to it) because their musicianship and abilities were very mature and polished. Guys? Your electric guitarist blew me away. Lead singer? Should be recording. I look forward to years from now saying I knew this group from the early days." -Keith (Georgetown, TX)
Thanks,
Lee County Line
