I have been doing what I can to learn to play the guitar and the bass guitar. I also like going to concerts, art shows, farmers markets, and I even enjoy live theater and the opera.

My idea of a perfect weekend is packing some things, swing by and pick up someone interesting, and take off on a little retreat. Leaving our busy lives behind and taking the road to nowhere anxiously awaiting our destination to watch the moonlight dance through the leaves on the trees and enjoying each others company. We just cant forget mapquest.
Music
I absolutely love concerts. Seeing the lights jump through the smoke and feeling the bass radiate through your body is amazing. I am also a huge supporter of the local scene and enjoy shows at The House Of Bricks, and Blues On Grand.
Movies
I can watch everything from the sheer romance of The Notebook, to Rob Zombies take on Halloween.
Television
I don't watch muck television but when I do, its generally things like The History Channel, Food Network, and things like that. I guess that I am also kinda a sucker for The Lifetime Channel when nobody is looking, but lets keep that one between us...
Books
Right now I like books by Steven King. I also enjoy authors like Leo Tolstoy.
Heroes
My parents for raising me the best way they knew how.
About me: I am comfortable in about any environment, and enjoy everything from a quiet evening at home to a fun night out. You been biking much? I been doing the stationary bike thing, boring but gets the job done. Too many dogs in our neighborhood , I'm affraid to ride outside our yard! Too bad though.

Yeah I know what you mean about the cold weather being WAY different. you know it's weird I grew up in Kentucky where the winters can get pretty mean. I handled cold weather really well, but after being in FL for 5 years I am a real wimp now. I can't hardly stand going back when it's freezin LOL.
