I make 8 bit music with old Nintendo gameboys.
How?
By using ingenious sequencing cartridges called Nanoloop and LSDJ (Little Sound DJ). The cartridges turns your gameboy into a step-sequencer/synth. By using just the controls built into the gameboy and the storage functions on cartridges, I write ze musik to share with ze world. A sync box also helps me sync my gameboys to external drum machines and synths.
