This Puertorican singer, interpreter of
the stylish musical genre known as
"Bohemian Latin Romantica",
is an ambitious, goal oriented and
talented artist who has been living
in Nashville, Tennessee ("Guitar Town",
"Music City, USA"), since 1995.
He has harvested much success as a
“Bohemian” style, romantic balladeer
singer and Latin crooner, throughout
the Mexican restaurants circuits, in local
radio stations and in open “mike” sessions
for singers and songwriters in the area.
Lee has also appeared and featured on the
local Community Access Television program
Nashville Latin Xpress, a variety revue
that showcases the area's Latino talent.
Lee Shanel has been a member
of the prestigious organization known as N.S.A.I.
(Nashville Songwriters Association International).
Lee is also a member of
A.S.C.A.P.,
(American Society of Composers, Authors & Publishers).
both as an accomplished songwriting
composer and publisher of his own material and
A.F.T.R.A.,
(American Federation of Television and Radio Artists).
He had his musical beginnings at the age of 12,
studying and learning to play the guitar in his
beloved birth city of Ponce, Puerto Rico,
under the watch of Professor Rafael Moreno.
Lee Shanel began singing in his home church
at an early age and has had the opportunity
to participate and offer special music in many
different houses of Christian Worship throughout
the island of Puerto Rico, various New England
states, and the states of New York, Michigan,
Oklahoma and Tennessee.
He furthered his training in voice,
piano and guitar at the
Inter-American University of Puerto Rico, main campus of San Germán,
under the music faculty and the
instruction of professors
Dr. Robert Smith and Dr. Roy Carter.
Lee is fluent in English, and Spanish which
is his native language. He also has the
ability, versatility and the training, to
sing in many other languages such as
French, Portuguese, Italian, German and Latin.
It is obvious and evident how through
his exquisite interpretation, the rich and
intense baritone tonalities possessed by
this so very talented singer and artist,
complement and do definite justice to a
varied number of well known melodies
and Bohemian-Romantic ballads.

también en Tennessee.
Acrecentó su entrenamiento en voz, piano y guitarra en la
Universidad Inter-Americana de Puerto Rico,
en el recinto de San Germán, bajo la facultad
de música y la tutela de los profesores

Lee habla español (el cual es su lenguaje natal)
y es muy fluyente en el idioma inglés. Además,
también posee la versatilidad y el entrenamiento
para cantar en muchos otros idiomas tales como
francés, portugués, italiano, alemán y latín.
Es muy obvio y evidente como a través de sus
exquisitas interpretaciones, la rica e intensa
tonalidad de barítono que posee este muy
talentoso artista y cantante, complementa y
le hace justicia definitiva a un variado número
de muy bien conocidas melodías y baladas
de estilo "bohemio-románticas".
