About me: I'm a Dutch girl, mostly proud of my tiny country, but I can also be found bitching over it just as easily.

I'm currently working as a temp for a job agency, mostly doing dull administrative jobs at various places. I have no educational goal. My highest degree is my High School diploma. I have attempted twice to get a college degree, one in teaching and one in media & information management. Failed to achieve that with both, because both weren't it for me.
I still live at home with my parents and our two cats Minoes(Minnie) and Lennon(Lenny), yes Lenny's named after John Lennon. I have one sibling, an older brother who's 25 years old and he's living on his own. I'm not really close to my family, though I often wish I was. What's not helping is that my grandmother thinks that I'm a communist just because I'm an active member for the Socialist Party (the SP).
I'm currently planning to move to Manchester, UK! I'm so dead excited about that. It's been my dream to live in England for about 7 years now <3
Music is my daily drug, I can't live without my music. I often wish that I was born in the fifties, just so that I would've lived through the most brilliant musical decades of them all: the sixties and seventies. I mostly have an "oldish" taste in music, thanks to having been brainwashed by my parents from the day I was born. I'm glad they did, though! But I do love today's modern rock and alternative bands such as Muse and Radiohead. And FYI, Darkside of the Moon is the best record ever made in the history of music, don't ever tell me differently.

De Mandalaband is trouwens wel iets apart, de goede man maakte 2 obscure symfonischewerkjes in de jaren 70 (met de Moody Blues, BJH & 10cc) ging toen goud graven, schreef boeken & maakte een fortuin. En nu 30 jaar later weer een kunststukje, wederom met een lijstje aan muzikale vrienden, oa Troy Donockley.

Mangrove (3 Oct in Verviers), Marillion, Iona (23 & 24 Oct)(ze waren erg goed afgelopen zondag), Riverside (26 Oct)(in de Auw Kerk te Bunde, het Paradiso vh Zuiden!), Parzivals Eye + Sylvan en natuurlijk de X-mas shows van Mostly Autumn zijn de volgende. Mmm ga Porcupine Tree dus missen.... er is gewoon veel te veel de komende maanden. Waar ga jij nog heen?
