When Pablo Casals reached 95, a young reporter threw him the following question: “Mr. Casals, you are 95 and the greatest cellist that ever lived. Why do you still practice six hours a day?” Mr. Casals answered, “Because I think I’m making progress.”
Sounds Like
A giant wall of 100 watt Marshall full stack amps and speakers capabable of parting the earth in half at will. All of the volume knobs are turned up to 11, but the amps are all mysteriously turned off. There's one lone guitarist sitting in a chair in front of the giant wall of amps and speakers plucking the nylon strings of his acoustic guitar, and it sounds wonderfully refreshing.
Lee Zimmer is a world-class performer who has delighted audiences with his virtuosity and sense of musicality both as a soloist and ensemble player. It seems Michelangelo didn't view himself as a genius while painting great art like the Sistine Chapel, but moreso as someone who remained patient. I gotta master the patience thing! More attitude than anything?
I hope that whatever you are currently tackling, you will find renewed strength to sustain though it!
