About me: used to the guitarist for left out, used to be the guitarist for the blamed, i broke up the blamed to play in living sacrifice, they broke up, i was sad, i was happy that cory is singing for norma jean it is cool. i started a new band, i hate band names, i was booked at cornerstone, they wanted to book us as the bryan gray project, the bryan gray project is lame, thus the blamed is dead was born. i am the guitarist, but we needed a drummer, so i bought a drumset and i became a drummer. at our first show my son elliot who is 3 played drums with me it was cool. now i am back on guitar, the band is officially called the satire.
so the satire has been through a million line up changes and it is getting old. hopefully we are almost settled in the current line up. the line up changes have birthed a new project entitled vaya con dios. i am also having fun in this band/project.
i played for a band that lance started called heroes among thieves, you should go and listen to this today if you have time, i worked on some of the production of this recording and that is all i have to say about that.
so i have joined my space, i am 30 something by the time you read this, i am married to the most amazing woman in the world, and i have the best friend in the world named elliot. i have been a missionary at jesus people usa for the last 9+ years, and i have nothing but good things to say about jpusa.
i don't do surveys, i think that they are silly. i don't take those pictures of myself that are me posing with a digital camera, or me looking surprised by the fact that i am taking a digital picture of myself, those are super lame, and super trendy, weird!
so i also stage manage at cornerstone festival, that pisses a lot of people off, and i am sorry for that, but i have to do my job, and really i don't think that the band playing gives a crap whether you are in their backstage, or else they would have made sure you were there, that is a fact, it has nothing to do with me and you, so go back to HXC and start a forum DORK!
last i am a christian and that means to me that i am in a relationship with jesus, he is cool and everlasting, that is it. i remember how important it used to be to me to tell the world about jesus, it still is important, but i would rather tell the world without talking. jesus was never meant to be a sales pitch, it would be like if i was telling you that my son elliot is the best thing ever and that you should really drop it all and have kids, no thanks. if you ever liked me and thought i was a decent person it was because of his influence on my life, now go and figure out your own destiny. i have learned that we as people have to figure things out the hard way. i did, and that is why i am who i am, because i am not a mindless follower, but bryan gray.
Who I'd like to meet: scott ian, charlie benante, bono, jesus, steven spielberg, george lucas, harrison ford, mark hamill, ozzy osbourne, zak wilde, an a&r guy for wind up records, an entertainment lawyer that likes my music and that i can trust.
