My personal financial ruin came with the birth of this label in early 2002. With larger labels like Lookout not really paying attention to the local punk scene anymore and smaller labels like S.P.A.M. and New Disorder disappearing almost entirely, there was a noticeable gap in some great music of the Bay Area being represented and from that void grew this endeavor.
D.I.Y. punk rock, house shows, vinyl records, copious amounts of alcohol, mix tapes, photocopied fanzines, generator shows, and pretty much anything as far away from major labels as you can find are all things this label wholeheartedly strives to take part in and support.
We might not have the most releases or sell thousands of "units", but there is a whole lot of heart and soul in everything you find here and it's worth taking a look at. i have that allergic 7". it rocks.
i saw them play maybe a year & a half ago at some little anarchy library/bookstore (in berkeley i believe it was) during my short stint in the east bay. they rocked. good times.
