-----My daughter Emily,9 grows like a weed in body and mind. She is ‘too cute.’ She will be the intellectual as well. She is imbued with a philosophical disposition, an inherited trait. She is strong-willed, a trait from her Paternal Grandmother. She is blond; a trait from the other grandmother, but nobody is perfect.
-------My son, Dakota, 11 qualities are his sensitivity. Life often wears away such character qualities, and I hope I can empower him to uphold those innate virtues that could serve him. He will lack the bulbous ‘Kloth’ nose, but will have the height, and the strength of his German ancestors. He love Scouts, Church and reading, he came to this earth with a keen intellect I encourage him to develop.
-------Kris is my wife. I admire her abiding faith, a faith I lack. Faith for me is a constant struggle, but for her faith is a steadily flowing stream. She fits the paradigm of faith as outlined by Paul’s definition. Her goodness and her faults are all on the surface, never has she embarked on a hidden agenda, a mark of character. In the last several years she has endured a crash course on the nature of evil, all which has taken its toll.

I own about 500 CD’s. 50% are blues, 25% country and classic rock, the rest an assortment of southern rock and Celtic music. (My wife calls southern rock, ‘heavy metal country.)

Television is misnamed, 'tele' is Greek, 'vision' is Latin, so mixing two languages is like mixing a plant and a man, something you get when you watch too much TV!
Heroes
My Mother, whom died when I was 12, courted an abiding faith. She had forces, seen and unseen besieging her late in life, forces trying to destroy her. Her faith was like a stream, up in spring time, low in the fall, but ever flowing. -----My Father was more Shakespearian in character, sporting strong qualities and equally potent character weaknesses; long periods of mundane and less than stellar behaviors punctuated by admirable acts of upright goodness. He was a war hero, and a good Inglewood Cop.
I would also say, if one is to have heroes, they best pick dead people.

About me: I am an over 40 recidivist, a conservative libertarian and church goin’ fellow. Religious, but I do not wear it on my sleeve. I am the consummate family man, as my priorities are family, my wife and two kids, my son, Dakota, 12- Emily, 9. My wife of 15 years Kristina is (don’t tell her I told you) is 42. My education is enough to get me into trouble. Education in itself does not necessarily lend itself to some type of exclusive moral edification, but proper values lived day to day, year to year, often do. My career has been steady for about 15 years; I just wish my retirement accounts were as steady.
