love and hatred .Most songs are based on our experience and real stories. This is the point where the biography of Legato begins. Yga (Igor Ragozin) and Deiwuzas
( Deivydas Katinas) met in the beginning of the summer in 2005 in “Porno Sound” studio . They found a lot of common interests, so they started to work together. After six months these relationships gained the certain form. The project was called Legato (in music term Legato means the cohesive combination of sounds).The new label U-Sound showed interest in Legato though the guys didn’t even have a single song. Soon after that the first Legato single “Verpetas “was presented. The young rnb singer Austeja took part in it. The song became popular among the Lithuanian hip-hop fans, and was played in various radio stations. The first Legato album was called “ Po viena saule “and was released in spring in 2006. The radio singles “ Viskas ore”, “ Krantai”, “ Po viena saule “, were noticed as well as “ Verpetas “, thus the Legato was nominated as
“The group of the year”, “The album of the year” and “The song of the year”in Lithuanian hip-hop awards 2006, and in “Radiocentras”(one of the biggest radio stations in Lithuania), awards as “ The alternative of the year”. The song “Po viena saule” which was made together with Julia Jacenaite was placed in the radio station “Radiocentras” list of honor. For a time they kept silence but not long ago they came back with the new single “Kai tu skaitai “which represents the following album.--------------------------------------------
Musu muzika – tai paprastu gatves bichu mintys apie gyvenimo vertybes ir problemas. Tai reiskiniai ir jausmai, su kuriais susiduria kiekvienas – geris ir blogis, meile ir neapykanta. Didzioji dalis kurybos yra paremta musu paciu patirtimi, realiomis gyvenimo istorijomis.
Butent nuo to butu galima pradeti „Legato" grupes biografija. Yga (Igor Ragozin) ir Deiwuzas (Deivydas Katinas) susitiko 2005 m. vasaros pradzioje „Porno Sound" studijoje. Pasisnekeje, susibendravo, ir atrade begale bendru muzikiniu interesu suplojo rankomis ir nutare padaryt kazka bendro, kazka vienas kitam artimo, rimto ir kokybisko. Po puses metu tai igavo forma. „Legato" (muz. terminologijoje tai rislus garsu junginys) – taip buvo pavadintas bendras projektas.
Dar neturinciais ne vieno realaus gabalo, jais susidomejo jauna leidybine firma „U-sound". Pasirasytas kontraktas dviems albumams. Is karto po to buvo pristatytas pirmasis Legato radijo singlas „Verpetas", irasytas kartu su jauna r'n'b atlikeja Austeja, kuriam liko neabiejingos ne tik Lietuviskos radijo stotys, bet ir lietuvisko repo megeju sirdys.
„Po viena saule" - taip buvo pavadintas debiutinis „Legato" albumas, isvydes dienos sviesa 2006 metu pavasari. Radijo singlai „Viskas ore", „Krantai", „Po viena saule" sulauke ne maziau atgarsio, negu pirmasis „Verpetas", todel nenuostabu, kad 2006 metais „Legato" buvo nominuoti ne tik Lietuvos Hip-hopo muzikos apdovanojimuose „Metu grupes", „Metu albumo", „Metu dainos" nominacijose, bet ir prestiziniuose Radiocentro apdovanojimuose „Metu alternatyvos" nominacijoje. Daina „Po viena saule",irasyta kartu su J.Jacenaite, atsidure Radiocentro „Garbes lentoje".
Veliau buvo pertrauka –10 menesiu tylos... Ir dabar „Legato" sugrizta. Sugryzta
stiprus, kaip niekada, su naujuoju savo singlu „Kai tu skaitai...", kuris reprezentuoja busima, antraji „Legato" albuma.
