Legendary Craft Brewery

About me:

Legendary Craft Brewery was born in October 2007 after Co-founders Matt Dreyfuss and Fred Hovermann served their first brew, a Peanut Butter Cup Porter, on tap at their apartment in Valley Forge, PA.

One Month earlier, the duo picked up their first kegerator, a dual-tap model found on craigslist, from a sorority house in Philadelphia. Realizing this tiny kegerator may not suit their needs afterall, they went back to craigslist and picked up a 4-tap monster deep in the woods of South Jersey the very same weekend. They quickly realized that self-employment in the beer industry was looking more and more exciting over their lackluster and stress-inducing engineering jobs. They’d much rather walk all over themselves than have someone else do it.

Prior to purchasing two kegerators in one weekend and brewing beer for a living, Matt and Fred met way back in 2002 while doing research for the National Center for Microgravity Research at NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, OH.
