There were fields and fields full of people camping. We performed in front of 20 000 people it was awesome. In answer to Mr Cliff Betton’s comment on our .co. uk site, about the drummer having a big smile, how could I not? You guy’s, the audience were fantastic. Seeing so many people singing and dancing along to us was the highlight of my year. Also to share a stage with so many great act’s, such As Robert plant, Supergrass, Midge Ure, Fairport’s Convention and many more, was a great honour for Legend. We got some great feedback about our performance form people back stage, including Musicians, actors and event organisers, but on top of that, the feedback we have received from the audience was fantastic. Thanks for all your kind comments and making the festival an amazing experience for Legend. We hope to see you all again in the future.
Just to finish off, we have to give thanks and maximum respect to the late great Bob Marley. His music seems to touch so many lives.
Well the last the last few weeks have been amazing for us. Starting off with a trip to Spain, where we played a gig in Lloret de Mar as part of the Clon festival. It was a fantastic experience for us, playing a gig on a beach to thousands of Spanish. Talking to many of the locals, they had been looking forward to seeing us for weeks, and you could tell from the reception they gave us. They love their Reggae music out there. Big respect to our man out there, George, who looked after us from the moment we landed. Trust me, I couldn’t eat any more food, and anyone that knows me would know it takes a lot of food to keep me happy. Much Love and respect to all the Spanish people we met. We flow back from Spain the following day and performed with our friends and fallow musicians, Johnny2bad at the Robin 2. What a great night that was. Maximum respect to Johnny2bad. On the second of August we were given the honour of headlining at the Opera House in Bournemouth, which is fantastic, large 1800 capacity venue. We were all very much looking forward to this, but at the same time wondering just how many people would turn up. Our Man Mr Kyp’s (Promoter) got it right again, What a fantastic turn out and great vibe. The lighting and stage were awesome. Thank you to everyone that came to see us at the Opera House, and thank you to Mr Kyp’s for believing in us. Maximum Respect. The following day we headlined the Margate carnival, another great event put on by Eli (Sugar lounge), Eli seems to be taking over Margate, by this time next year, I’m sure he will be Lord mayor of Margate. Thanks to Eli and family for looking after us. Behind every great man there is a woman, and believe me, she can cook, so if you are ever in Margate, check out the Sugar Lounge. Just when we thought things could not get any better. We turned up at the Fairport’s Cropredy Convention on Saturday. As I entered the festival, I could not believe the amount of people that were there. There were
