The band infuses the roots of ska with indie rock, klezmer and more to create a fresh new sound. Contagious melodies backed by a tight rhythm section and catchy horn lines form the heart of Fishbear’s original music. Witnesses report an ecstatic stage presence and spontaneous dance parties at all Fishbear sightings.
Fishbear's sound evolves from too many influences to mention, but takes root in ancestral origins like Toots & the Maytals, the Beatles, African orchestra, gypsy music, early rockers, klezmer horn blowers, genius rappers, and the primal beats and rhythms of Pleistocene man.
