Heroes“Having read a fair few drafts of this book (think i've still got the first chapter of the first draft, is it worth anything do you reckon?!) I can safely say that it has got better and better. Seems like a long time since I sent that fateful email, keep up the good work!” – Rosie, Canterbury

“Thank you for writing!! It is a pleasure to read, and I keep sitting on my hands, waiting for the next bit! *chuckles* Do tell me when it is out in print, I NEED TO BUY IT!!” – Heather, Arizona

“Chris, I am so delighted that this project will continue and I wish you all the luck in the world with it. Writing as therapy is something I understand all too well, though in my case as a 'possessed scribbler' , it is more like exorcism. My beautiful Dark Kind bad boys, Jazriel and Prince Azrar are very real to me and demand their stories be told! I hope that one day soon, you will see your book in your hand as a published volume. Until then, enjoy the journey. Big cyber hug of encouragement”. - Raven Dane, UK

“Chris, I've subscribed. Thank you!!” - Barry Wood, Nova Scotia

“Good luck on the book/s. Keep at it”. - Woodland Fairy, Montana

“Keep writing and one day you will have a book to be proud of!” – Shelagh, Lancashire

“Good for you, I've subscribed and I’m looking forward to reading more” – Lizzy, South West, UK

“Persevere. There is no doubt a great book inside of you”. – Jack, Connecticut

“One gets the sense of foreboding, or perhaps foreshadowing of unsettling times ahead for Samuel. Look forward to reading more!” – Fantom, London

“I really enjoyed it. I want to read more!” – Lili, Alabama

“Ingy my brother you know I love the book!” – Danny, Blackburn

“Loved the prologue! Can't wait to read more of the book. It's an attention-getter from the very beginning.” – Dakota, Antartica

“Interesting to see how this will develop, good thing I have further chapters already at hand, waiting! Was the black and white of the brothers’ personae a shortcut for what comes next? Or are we bound to discover that both have some shades of grey? I hope so; I never liked to be told. I very much prefer to be lead, unknowingly.” – Isobel, Lisbon

“I enjoyed it. Keep up the great work.” – Saffronbitch, Australia

“I really like the prologue. I definitely want to keep reading.” – Nat, Ontario

“Gripping story! Thanks for sharing, and I look forward to more. This reminds me a little of something I had worked on once, but is obviously a unique take from you. If you care to discuss this piece with me, I am open to it. I think there are real possibilities here.” – Fantom, London

“Having read the first two chapters of this book over two years ago, I have been dying to read the rest, however something tells me that I should wait until completion. Knowing the author very well, it would be easy for me to say that I expect this book to be good however I genuinely think this could be a very popular read if published. Keep up the good work my friend and don’t give too much away. You never know who is reading!” - Matt, Manchester

“This is really good, was gutted to reach the end, I want to read more.” - Carmen, Devon

“Poor Sam...when do we get the rest? WONDERFUL!!” - Lili, Alabama

“Good story. You have a strong command of the written word. I also like your imagery. You are a good writer.” - Barry Wood, Nova Scotia

“I’ve read this chapter so far and it’s very exciting. I like the way you have used gripping words to express your characters feelings and thoughts. You have used excellent descriptive writing that keeps the reader wanting more!! Looking forward to reading on” - Jon, Preston

“Great piece of work mate. I'm not really one for books but if they grab me I will read them and this seems like it is one of them books for me. Good luck with it mate I think you have got something here and a great talent. Never realised you had this talent you dark horse!” - Tom, Preston

“What I really liked about this was the universe, many interesting subjects there! I also really like the characterization of Samuel seems to be some interesting aspects to him. I would have liked to get some more info on what changed Eliza maybe it's in a later chapter but right now I don't understand why such a change has happened to her personality. Also the language puzzles me is it all old fashioned? 'Cause sometimes I thought the words where kind of everyday language, ahh don't know. Where have you got your inspiration to the language? You used many very dramatic phrases (often used ones not that it makes them bad) it made the story and particular Samuel seem very dramatic which I liked. I see potential in the story. Looking forward to seeing you explore the universe and Samuel's character.” - Sarah, Copenhagen

“Wow...just...wow... It's people like you that give me hope on my own writing, renewing my love for a great story. Wow!” - Heather, Arizona

“Wow! This is amazing! I'm heading off to read the next chapters right now! If this gets published (which I really think it will) I will definitely purchase it!” - Angela, Michigan

“Great. I loved that you did not fall into the trap of showing us a typical hero. Samuel makes a GREAT character and I will have to read your other blogs soon! Very well written, I must say, from one writer to another. I loved your voice behind it.” - Jenn, Utah

“I really enjoyed the first chapter. I found it very well described and found myself being able to imagine myself there in the crowd, watching as this poor boy stood no chance. Will read the next chapter as soon as I can. GRIPPING!" - Mummy Harris, UK

“As promised I'm here......you are a very talented writer, you have the power to grip people and launch them into your story!! And I think I'm going to love the way your mind works. off to the next chapter..........” - Diane, Amsterdam

“Ok Mate, the storyline is very good, your visualization is excellent and I enjoyed reading this whole chapter. You just seem to jump around a bit, I know you are giving the history to get your reader up to speed, but it seems that you could do it a bit smoother. Great potential!! Keep working on it!! I can see you in print eventually” - Brandy, North Carolina

“Thank you. I really enjoyed that. It's so difficult to put yourself 'out there', like this, and have people judge your work. They have the power to completely discourage you, and cause you to doubt your worth as a writer. Don't let that happen. Here exists the potential for something brilliant. Hone your skills as writer, accept good advice that is offered to you, and continue working on this story. I'm hooked!!!” - Saffronbitch, Australia

“Hey, just getting around to reading this. I give you credit for writing this much and visualizing the world as richly as you did. However, I think that it needs some tightening up. I am not sure if you posted here for positive only reviews, or for some constructive criticisms. I could go into it if you are interested; email me. I would also be interested in having you read my story as it is (similarly) set in a fantasy world, and it appears that we are on a similar track.” - Craig, Massachusetts

“Just had a chance to read Chaper 1. I'm really enjoying so far. Looking forward to chapter 2. Cheers” - Nat, Ontario

"I like it so far, it draws you in and I think you will go far with it, hope it works out for you. – Jenny, Preston"

“Still going great, its fab! Keep up the good work” – Carmen, Devon

“I can tell something great is about to happen. Oh, Sartorious’s exit was great!” – Lili, Alabama

“My dear friend! I read all your previews breathlessly! I like your language of tale. I like your story. I want to read more!…………” – Hanka, Czech Republic

“Okay I have a problem. I want to see what happens so much that I find myself scanning the words fast...and then I have to go back and re-read them. This is annoying and wasteful of the images I conjure up as I gather pace with your story. I am not sure how to solve this... on to the next chapter and let's see how I can pace myself!” – Carla, Uk

“This is getting so good I feel I need to carry on to next chapter but I will have to wait, can’t wait to find out what Sartorius is going to do, wow hope the next chapter is as gripping. Thanks keep up the brilliant writing.” – Mummy Harris, UK

“Wow! Impressive.... I am wondering if I am reading the same guy... lol you have something cooking here... Keep up this direction, mate! You're definitely on the right track as far as style and pacing... much better than previous things I've read... at least as far as my tastes go... thanks for sharing!” – Fantom, London

“Much better!! I am totally engrossed. You had better not quit writing this or I will have to fly over there and kick your behind!!……….” – Brandy, North Carolina

“I enjoyed that immensely. Thanks to you I learned a new word today. I love that, and you get extra kudos for it. There should be an 'extra kudos' button. Thank you very much...Moving on to the next chapter!!!” – Saffronbitch - Austrailia

That's okay. I understand that folks get busy :) My husband and I are extremely busy with work. We have only had two days off in the last five or six weeks, so we are exhausted. If only all that time translated into a nice healthy bank balance :) Oh well.... what can you do? lol I'd rather have work on, than be completely broke. Apart from the exhaustion, I'm pretty good thanks.
How are things with you? Are you keeping out of trouble?
