Hey guys, thanks for the add. Todd, I have to say I actually miss doing the 10 step with ya but I doubt at my old age, I could keep up anymore. I can still hear you singing "Don't Close Your Eye" and wish I still had the recording. I would have to say that was my favorite song that you did. Hope to hear from ya soon. God Bless!! Diane
Seen you guys for the first time Saturday at Club 51, were told by friends Melinda and Michelle and were so glad we came! Was a very fun night for our veyr much needed "Moms Night Out"!!!!!! We had a BLAST! You guys are very talented and we LOVED the crowd participation! What a riot!
Last night was one of the greatest nights of my life even if it ended a little interesting. My last show had to have been my best (according to others and myself) I want to thank all my great friends and family who showed up at Club 51 last night:
Dana Mom & Dad Uncle Doug & Aunt Holly Angie & Eric Roy Mosser Jeff & Kerry Sarah Carr Angela & Zach The Chad Janelle Misty & Barb Justin Hesse Rob & Angie Shawn & Tara
Allen & Lisa Sug
You guys made it so worth it and I thank you all and love you for that.
A few highlights of the night:
Bobby Darin got a standing ovation - first one that charectar has ever had. Billy Joel had my Dad and Uncle singing along, who knew? Johnny Cash had more black hairspray than ever (sorry, it's all I could come up with)
The Blues Brothers - WOW!
Got quite a few surprises during this set. First of all, started the show with Justin Hesse doing Elwood - never performed with him and damn sure hope I will again sometime.
Then, the biggest highlight of my night. The second song kicks in, Justin leaves the stage. Here comes Jeff with a hat, glasses, and jacket on to perform with me one more time. Don't mind telling you, I almost cried like a little bitch. What a great gesture, thank you man.
Michelle stops the show and sings, "Unforgettable" to me wishing me well. Ok, here I DID cry like a little bitch. But only because her generosity to me (especially on her birthday) was a great gesture of friendship.
Then I said all my thank yous to everyone and said goodbye. I got offstage and was greeted with nothing but open arms and kind words. Thank you to everyone for doing that. It's nice to know you are appreciated and loved even by people who don't know you.
Then the deer came - For those who don't know, on the way home last night, Dana and I had a death match with a deer. The deer blinked. However, Dana's car is all sorts of messed up. We are both ok, just down to on
Well the time has come. For those of you who are unaware, Saturday, July 21st will be my last full show with Legends Entertainment. These past four years have been amazing to me and my music. By no means are there any ill feelings as I am just taking a break to focus on some other things. Who knows? Maybe one day Bobby Darin will return, but for now, the amazing talent Justin Hesse will be taking over some of my roles for now. Make sure you stop by Club 51 in Macon, IL Saturday so I can say goodbye. Love to all. Brad
