Legend's Ghost is a musical project led by composer/vocalist Cheryl-Renee Childs. Cheryl finished writing the music for Legend's Ghost's first concept album "The Suicidal Immortal" in September 2006. She is currently recording and writing material for a second album, Gatekeepers. Cheryl plans on a double release.
Several guest artists in various parts of the world will appear on the album as instrumentalists or characters in the story.
A story that could be described as Tuck Everlasting with a twist, The Suicidal Immortal is an adventure complete with time travel, ancient curses, and even a little romance. Gatekeepers is a mystical, sensual epic about...well, maybe that's best left unsaid for now, given the mysterious nature of the story.
Also, while Legend's Ghost is my main focus right now, I AM INTERESTED IN SIDE PROJECTS! (I already have a few, which I am enjoying quite a bit, but I still have time for more) If you want me to sing on your rock opera/album or wish to collaborate with me in any other way, I would love to do that. I am also interested in singing with a touring band, so if you are looking for a singer, message me.
