About Legions of Fire (We Have Woodshock Tickets!!)
Legions of Fire are a rare 3 piece power trio from Ohio that play Metal; no frills here, just good ol' head trashing rock n' roll. Legions of Fire are a band that is dedicated to the utmost to their music career and take pride in bringing the fun back to the Metal scene. The band is heavily influenced by many different genres of music, and it shows in their unique song writing. Their energy-filled live performances are nothing short of brutal and leave fans screaming for more!
“The Mark of Power” is the band’s debut release on Turkey Vulture Records produced by Jason Z. This album captures the band’s raw aggression and delivers a welcomed style of metal that has elements of old-school and new-school all wrapped up into one!!

We'd like to update everyone about some changes happening at Toxik Tunes. We are currently in the process of redesigning www.toxiktunes.com to include a webzine focusing heavily on DIY and Independent label bands, as well as continuing on with Toxik Tunes Radio. Other webzines focus on "mainstream" metal, our goal is to put you out in front, and the others on the backburner.
So what does this mean to you? It
means opportunity to expose yourself to more people. We will be looking
for bands to interview, CD's to review, and we will choose a band each month to do a spotlight on as well, meaning you'll be featured on a page with your bio, pics, and any contact
information you'd like there as well. Toxik Tunes will also post any
news you might like to have posted in our news section, be it a
tour, a CD release date or anything else along those lines. Right now
we are constructing the first "issue" with a target date of March 1st 2009. So we need content, if you're interested in having your band in this, or a future issue contact us at toxiktunes@comcast.net for information.
Advertising: We will be offering advertising at the lowest cost to you that you'll find anywhere. We have reserved advertising space on the left side of our site and will sell a 125x125 ad for $5.00 per issue (per month). However we will have a links section and will never charge you for posting your banner. We are not for profit and any advertising
money made will go towards the website cost, and cost of our streaming
server. If theres extra it will go towards promotions and giveaways to our listeners and webzine visitors, no staff or employee of Toxik Tunes makes a dime off you and or your band.
