L’egojazz tinkers with instruments and equipment. The name says it all: single building blocks are combined to resonate and harmonize. Dance, music and visual art coalesce to a newer style of AV+ live show. Since February, 2006 three musicians have been working closely with three multimediaart students and a classical dancer to generate a mix of Electrofunk and Nu-Jazz, balanced with fitting livevisuals and effects.
A communicative dance performance stimulates the audience and motivates the multi-instrumentalists to dedicate them¬selves more to the music. Incessant danceable analog and digital sound-productions and tunes from strings, percussion, turntables, and synthesizers are intermixed with German and English poetic singsong.
The different musical and visual sequences can be combined in any way as desired. Thus L’egojazz can craft bidirectional com¬munication with their audience and spontaneously adjust to the vibes of the crowd. The point is, all parts are equal: Color, body, and music create an explosion of visual and acustic stimuli.

There's a fair bit of news from this side - the dark poets film 'Borderline' is being used in Beijing to promote the London 2012 olympics...so that's a bit of a coup. Also - the Gary Lucas Vs The Dark Poets album is doing well...We're currenlty underway with production of music videos - so watch this space! Judgement at Midnight is now officially the most downloaded tune from the some bizzare double album on iTunes.(and all other download sites including beatport, amazon mp3 etc etc)
Also - Gary Lucas has come out to show his political support - and guess who it is...check youtube. com for 'THE DUTELS' (Gary Lucas)

On every first Monday in the Month he will present DJ's playing Progressive and House Music. The next guest I am inviting the Norwegian DJ Mikkas and the Danish Lars B better known as Djuma Soundsystem. A couple of years ago, in the midst of all the etnic inspired cliche' Ibiza compilations and all the afro-house, Mikkas and Lars B sat down with Their friend Disse and asked themselves this question: is it not possible to make something less cheesy that still works on a floor?
