MANIC.BAND
Back in 1996, Manuel Doiron and Nicole Henri met for a jam. The chemistry was there. From that point on decided to try a duo band called Manic. The meaning of the name was taking the first 3 letters in both Manuel and Nicole’s name and creates Man-Nic....in short "MANIC".
In 2002 - they released their first CD called "La danse des Acadiens" .
Since then, they've been doing shows as both duo and trio style with a friend, Maurice Richard. Also member of another band, Maurice could not commit to playing all shows with MANIC. But they were having fun, and that's all that counted.
In 2007 - a new member joined the group. Ryan Gallant from Point-Du-Chêne NB, joined them playing lead. Being a singer/songwriter, he is surely a valued member. They have been all working close in creating the new Image of MANIC.
New for 2009, Olivier Le Blanc joins the band as the new Base Player.
Manic will be touring the 2009 season with an all new acoustic show. Listening to you, the fans, and wanting to give the fans the chance to meet the band, sing to their favorite songs, and just have plan old fun.
Working on the 2nd CD, the band is having fun. That's what it's all about!

Ouais, des show avec beaucoup de bands comme ça, c'est normal qu'il y arrive des petits problèmes techniques...
Moi aussi, j'aurais bien aimé parler plus avec vous autres, mais y'avait tellemnet de stir là...Anyways, on a quelques gigs en même temps c't'été, on aura chance d'en boire une "frette" ensemble...
