This is the BMCF's 3rd annual Summer Stars program, which together with Quasar MAP raises money for summer camps that give kids the experiences to change a life and the memories to last a lifetime.
We assist at risk youth from very poor and abusive backgrounds.
Many of the children we serve have never gone canoeing or camping, or learned to cook or to sing in front of an audience applauding their efforts.
Your money helps kids do that and more.
It pays for badly needed items -- camp scholarships, sports equipment (baseballs, basketballs, soccer nets), T-shirts, lunches, first-aid kits, arts and crafts, life vests, canoes, computer usage, tents ... if kids can enjoy it, the camps need it.
