The power rock trio Leigh Highwood Band (LHB) were formed in 2004. With extensive gigs booked across the South East of England the band have built up a loyal following with their brand of classic rock covers and original songs.
Featuring the virtuoso Guitar talents of Leigh Highwood, the Bonhamesque drumming of Rick Kent ably supported by Gary Hobley's driving Bass they easily reproduce that classic rock sound of the 70's and 80's. With their love of classic equipment the band produce a big sound which proves popular where ever they play.
Later this year the band hope to record further original songs which will be featured here at Myspace, so stay tuned or catch the band live if you can. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!
Having now done some recording sessions at St. Luke's Church in Maidstone, LHB are also currently putting the finishing touches to their first recorded material. It is hoped to gain a release on an independent label the album's working title is "Come And Get It" and will feature 10 original songs and two live bonus cover versions.
We have now added studio versions of "Come And Get It" and "Goin' Down" although the arrangement of these songs may change for the CD. Also two videos have been added recorded at The Wye Blues Fest July 2006, sorry for the quality but we hope you enjoy.
