We all grew up on rock oriented bands. Led Zepplin, Hendrix, Clapton, Journey. Eddie was into Fusion bands like Return to Forever, Al Dimeola, Lee Ritinour. But we love anything that sounds great and kicks butt.
Eddie Leighton, John Fain, Rick Vuk, and Joe Fava, took first place in the Miller High life Rock to Riches Contest beating out over 35,000 entries nation wide. Eddie Leighton also won first place in the Motor City best guitarist contest, beating out over a 1000 entries. Now put this together with lead vocalist Dino Johnson, and you've got "Leighton". If you want great music, and great musicians, then this is the band you should listen to. They have appeared on stages with national, and international acts: STYX, Foreigner, Paul Rodgers, Asia, Blue Ouster Cult, Mark Farner, Foghat, Kansas, and Reo Speedwagon, just to name a few. hey! we are trying to change something... our new singer erik can't be a full member of dreamscape because the stess to travel a lot is affecting his health. so we decided to work with more than one singer - honestly we will work with even more than two... hopefully you will like that idea! we like it a lot because we will be very flexible and our sound will become even more complex! kind regards!
