My influences come from many different sources...mostly from artists like Yanni, Vangelis, Howard Shore, James Horner, etc. I love to listen to pretty much any soundtracks or well-produced instrumentals I can get my hands on. Believe it or not, though, I like almost every style of music out there. ALMOST. :) But that's a whole other issue entirely.
Sounds Like
An instrumental conglomeration (depending on the song of course) of Yanni, Vangelis, Howard Shore, Hoobastank, Linkin Park, and hopefully the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.
Combining the classic orchestra with the electric guitar, Leighton Miles brings a unique style to the instrumental genre. Influenced by artists such as Yanni and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, he is able to create a large range of instrumental styles within his songs, from the soft, melodic symphony to the loud, driving guitar and pipe organ. Because Leighton is the only member in his band, he is able to write, direct, record, produce, and arrange all of his music. His instrumentation in any given song may include the piano, saxophone, drums, guitar, bass, strings, pipe organ, harpsichord, and much, much more.
Leighton is 20 years old and has been making CDs since he was 13. His released discography includes "Alaska"(2003), "Universe"(2004), "The Island"(2005), and "Legend"(2007). His latest album, entitled "Broken", is scheduled for release on March 31st, 2008. Leighton is also a member of a Christian band called Black Sky Surrender, and you can check out their website at http://www.blackskysurrender.com/. Good luck to you all, and thanks for visiting!

Well kinda hard for me to pick a feav but I like Nearer, My God, To Thee for a sense of hymnal. The mansion just sounds awesome. Symphony and Leah I liked the mood. The battlefield just sounds like that a epic battle in a movie. Confession I just liked.
Ok so let me be a little more detailed. It was a great CD! The reason I said pretty was because it was pretty music....hmmm and there was much of it....so when you put that together you get PRETTY MUCH. :)
