I listen to a little of everything but most recently I LOVE listening to inspirational and jazz music.
Movies
As long as there's good acting and a good plot, I'm there. That could be action, romance, comedy, and most especially independent films and foreign films. I have a soft spot for films that focus on the spiritual side of paranormal - good vs. evil. Can't stand really graphic horror movies, although if the people I am with happen to be watching I also can't look away.
Television
I seem to be getting away from watching tv lately. When I do watch it's the news, comedy central - on the weekends for the stand up comics, the travel channel and food network - love to pick up ideas for new and healthy dishes.
Books
Way too many to mention them all. When I was growing up - Judy Blume of course, Nancy Drew mysteries, and the Sweet Valley High girls :) LOL When I was in college - Poet Martin Espada, Sandra Cisneros, Isabel Allende, and Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Now, well I like to read suspense, mysteries, and romance novels mostly. There is only one book that travels with me and I try to open up at least once a day and that is my bible. I'm always amazed at discovering something new and profound each and every time I read from it.
Heroes
Jesus Christ. All soldiers, firefighters, police officers and government agents who put their lives on the line to protect us from harm - many without recognition. Those who do what is right, not for recognition or praise, but because it is right.

About me: Hi, I'm Leila Garced. I write fiction and am currently working on a novel for young adults. I am super excited about it and can't wait to share more details as I come closer to finishing it.
I'm originally from New Jersey, attended school in New England and now I'm living in Maryland, right outside of DC. Most of my career I have worked in Sales and Marketing and spent the last 7 years at the corporate headquarters of a luxury car company. All the while, I knew what I really wanted to do was write. A year ago I relocated from New Jersey to Maryland and I now spend my days writing full time. I have been blessed with a wonderful and supportive family. And for those of you who have asked, my last name is pronounced gar-said. Thanks so much for caring to ask ;)
My website at www.leilagarced.com is currently under construction but check back for more soon.

Happy Holidays! Hope you’re enjoying the season so far. Seems it has been quite some time since I spent some time on Myspace. I have been busy altering my website at www. tonycowger. com to reflect my newest efforts in the freelance and ghost writing markets and focus less on my own novel. Anyway, I hope the rest of your year is wonderful and that the new year holds all the abundance you want. If you or someone you know is in need of some writing help please send them my way at www. tonycowger. com. (For any help I receive from my Myspace friends I am offering a 10% finders fee to say thank you for helping out a friend so be sure to write and let me know in case your friend forgets to tell me. If you hire me yourself, that 10% would be taken off what you pay so, either way, you win.) I have experience in writing sales ads/presentations, non-fiction and, of course, fiction. Thanks and happy holidays!
