Some Press about my band, WENDY DARLING's debut album, which I produced:
"...Equally impressive is multi-instrumentalist Nate Heller, a skilled engineer and producer."
-George Varga, San Diego Union Tribune
"As far as the production goes, guitarist Nate Heller is absolutely exceptional. It's not an over-the-top pop album that most listeners would expect to hear on Top 40 radio (damn Clear Channel). And, it's not so indie that you struggle to hear words, lyrics, or even the music."

Influences
John Peel, Rick Rubin, John Goodmanson, Ric Ocasek, Butch Vig, Tom Erbe
Leilos Sound is a top notch recording studio in Oakland, California, founded and run by Nate Heller. Here's a little bit about him..."I've been recording music since I picked up a guitar 12 years ago - from boom-box tape decks and four tracks - to fully integrated digital studios. I studied sound engineering at UCSD and got hands-on training working and interning at the various studios on campus.
Now, I work primarily out of a converted yoga studio with professional results.
If you are a solo act or singer-songwriter, I also offer mobile recording services at budget rates - I can record in-home, or travel. From seasoned veterans of the scene to those just putting together their first demos, I have the experience and the care to help you create a product you will be proud of!"
