Leisure Icons was founded in 1727 after a lost wager. Max Zuckerman, a scrivener's apprentice, spent his last doubloon on a game of chance for a crate of extremely rare pickled plums. Upon losing, he cursed his luck, befriended a fellow wanderer, Duncan Smith, a local coxswain, and the duo spent the next half century honing their skills in the caves of Lascaux under the tutelage of a pack of wild hyenas, who possessed uncanny maternal instincts and exquisite aesthetic sensibilities. After two centuries, they found refuge in the city of Baltimore, where they spend their days crafting "rock and roll" music and their nights sipping mint juleps with the beau monde.
