A Coco Beach, Florida native, Leland’s unique childhood paved the road for his career. Adopted at birth, Leland spent most of his childhood playing with bands, songwriting, and taking piano lessons in Virginia. After receiving his Bachelor of Science in Music Business and Piano, with an emphasis on Voice, Piano, and Percussion from Old Dominion University, Grant successfully won the VH1 singing contest “In Search of the Partridge Family” and landed the role as David Cassidy’s Keith Partridge on 2005’s The New Partridge Family, which uniquely tied with his personal life as he was reunited with his biological mother who auditioned for “Shirley.” By then he made the transition to Los Angeles and was immediately picked up by International Creative Management (ICM), which elevated his career as an established industry professional.
Shortly thereafter, Leland was introduced to Mitchel Musso (Hannah Montana’s “Oliver”). In addition to commencing his relationship with Hannah Montana, his extension work has included touring with Disney as a performing artist and appearing in and singing the vocals for show’s episode 307 theme, “Let’s Make This Last Forever”, with Musso for his album release in Spring, 2009, as well as the Season 3 Hannah Montana Soundtrack.
Grant’s vocals for“I’ve Got The Magic In Me,” (D.Yessian) has been chosen as the theme song for Universal Studios production of R.L Stine’s Mostly Ghostly book series, featuring the debuts of Noah Cyrus and Ali Lohan, which is released on DVD and airing on the Disney Channel. Song available on itunes.
During this productive period, the musician, performer, and actor that was prevailing, Grant was also building his career as an enduring songwriter, touring across the country performing his original music.. Wise beyond his years and a dedicated songwriter, Leland reaches deep into the center of his heart to write sincere songs about life, relationships, and global issues that compel listeners to think beyond their usual parameters. Genuine songs like “Lines In The Sand” written while reflecting on the influence that 911 had on the Nation, “Perfect Peace” an ode to Tim McGraw’s “Live Like You Were Dying,” and the spiritual renewing lyric and sounds of “Home”, are examples of the caliber of the diverse songwriting, whose style comes in all formats; pop, country, rock, and soul. The prestige of his writing has brought him to the same writing and performing circles as Tyler Hilton, Josh Kelly, Sara Bareilles, and Tony Lucca.
As a representative for the First American Military, a non-profit organization, Leland’s song co-written with Grammy nominated 1 hit songwriter Steven Dale Jones,” No One Gets Left Behind,” will serve as the theme for the upcoming Peter Berg film “The Lone Survivor” based on the Military Corp. This led to the incredible opportunity to sing the National Anthem for the San Diego Padres and performing headlined concert events to benefit the ONE Campaign (www.one.org). Grant has recently performed before industry’s best at the Hotel Café in Hollywood, CA and was asked to return to headline more shows in various LA venues where he has recently received recognition at standing room only performances.
Most recently, Leland has relocated and been writing in Nashville, with most notably: Stephony Smith, Clint Black, and Dennis Matkosky. This hard-working young star’s dream is to continue to write inspirational songs, entertain the world and remain true to his fans. With three songs placed in Lifetime Networks and Independent Films, “All I Wanted,” “Have It All,” and “Home” his career in music has already surpassed some of the more commercial singers and songwriters of today.

Ok so ill tell you what happened... I was on a school trip with my friends at this one amusement park and everyone was trying to get on the same ride so it was a reallllyyyy long wait. Anyways... i was standing and waiting and you were all the way at the front talking to some of the kids from my class. I screamed your name and you turned around and waved but than continued talking to my friends... Than you finally came over and took pictures with me and everything.. it was an amazing dream to me but it probably put you to sleep..
Also my sister wanted to know if you liked the band Honor Society?
The turkey shot out of the oven and rocketed into the air, it knocked every plate off the table and partly demolished a chair.
It ricocheted into a corner and burst with a deafening boom, then splattered all over the kitchen, completely obscuring the room.
It stuck to the walls and the windows, it totally coated the floor, there was turkey attached to the ceiling, where there'd never been turkey before.
It blanketed every appliance, it smeared every saucer and bowl, there wasn't a way I could stop it, that turkey was out of control.
I scraped and I scrubbed with displeasure, and thought with chagrin as I mopped, that I'd never again stuff a turkey with popcorn that hadn't been popped.
