About Lemar

Almost six years ago, Lemar released his debut album Dedicated, ushering in a new exciting juncture in UK soul music. Since then, Lemar has become the most successful black British soul artist of our time, with three top ten UK albums, Lemar has sold well over 2 million albums, and notably has been awarded three MOBO Awards and two BRIT Awards.

In November 2008 Lemar marked a new chapter in his music career with the release his fourth studio album, The Reason and the lead single 'If She Knew'. Based on his incredible vocals and fine songwriting, The Reason reveals why Lemar is an artist ready to take his place amongst classic soul singers in a cutting edge modern Pop / R&B setting.

'Weight of the World', Lemar's second single from the new album, is out now. The CD version of the track features the exclusive B side 'Diamonds'.
