    Lemeleagre nascono nel 1998 dalla fusione di due gruppi, Priscilla Zoe e Psychocandies. Il nome della band nasce da Meleagre, nome francese di un personaggio della mitologia greca (Meleagro in italiano). Dopo esser stati eletti 'Miglior Gruppo Romagnolo' nell'ambito del 'M.E.I. - Meeting Etichette Indipendenti', nel 2001 salgono sul palco di Arezzo Wave. Nello stesso anno si aggiudicano il premio Tendenze di Piacenza (giuria presieduta da Luca Frazzi di Rumore). Nel 2003 e nel 2004 suonano al 'Tora!Tora!' (partecipando alla compilation edita dalla Mescal) e al 'Sonica Festival'. La parabola artistica de Lemeleagre giunge alla svolta discografica nel 2004 con la firma dell'accordo con West Link Produzioni e Ammonia Records per la pubblicazione dell'omonimo disco ufficiale di debutto. La produzione artistica è di Alessandro Sportelli (già al lavoro con Prozac+, Negazione, Forty Winks e Vanilla Sky) e Alessandro Paolucci (Raw Power, GF 93), mentre la distribuzione è in mano a Edel. Lemeleagre girano il loro 1° video del brano "Alta Fedeltà" durante la data di apertura ai Kaiser Chiefs al Velvet di Rimini. Il video viene presentato nel marzo 2006 sul sito MTV.IT. Su Radio Rock Fm (www.radiorockfm.com) raggiungono la prima posizione in classifica Made In Italy (nel mese di marzo 2006) e Pogo Radio (al n°1 nel mese di dicembre 2005). Sono presenti con intervista su Rocksound (n° 91 dicembre 2005). Sul numero successivo (n° 92 gennaio 2006) tengono la rubrica "I 5 Dischi Italiani Dai Testi Migliori". A novembre '06 esce il video del brano "Rock C" con la regia di Stefano Bertelli. In questi ultimi mesi sono al lavoro per il nuovo disco che vede la collaborazione e partecipazione di Roberto “Tax” Farano (Negazione, Angeli, Fluxus, Quinto Braccio) alla chitarra e alla voce, Simone Lalli (Autobam, Elec) e Olly Riva (The Fire, Shandon, Furious Party).
