I hope you like our music. I hope you find it exciting. I'm the singer of our team and I also write the lyrics and compose some of the melodies and backgrounds. Ilkka makes Le Mirage's backgrounds, mainly and Lassi and Steffe fix the recording sessions. We have a great spirit in our team and we make music with attitude.
I was born in Vaasa, Finland but I grew up in Hanko, then moved to Turku, then to Espoo, my home city. I started playing the violin as a kid, then started to make some naive songs with guitar, took part in rock bands, choirs, art camps and so on. Spent time writing poetry, was lonely and too conscientious. The "usual" musician background; Ruff environment, good inspiration skills. I liked painting and photographing, too and all kind of designing and I'm a huge fan of sports. Nowadays, I make music and write and those are the only things I want, sorry, NEED to do. Can't survive without. It's the only way to handle this stuff and unfair world. I often dedicate my songs to my friends or other people that have had an important meaning to me.
Ilkka, Le Mirage's composer, lives in Espoo and is also talented in graphics.
Lassi, our music engineer, lives in Turku. He has made Le Mirage's cd covers and our Myspace layout.
