Ms.Horne personifies elegance and beauty. Her career spans eights decades. She is a true living legend with the celebration of her 90th birthday on June 30, 2007.

Lena paved the way for all Black female actresses today. She was the highest paid Black actor between 1940's-50's, making over $200,000 a year. She was the first African-American to adorn numerous high profile magazine covers. She was the first Black pin-up girl.
