| Band Members | Two accomplished musicians met on
a tour, they decided to form a
unit because the magic was there
and the chemistry caused sparkles
and deflagrations, the kind your
science teacher warned you about.
Josee Allard, singer-songwriter, guitarist,
bass player born in
Powell River BC, has been singing,
making, playing music since age
ten when she decided that music
was her thing.
Danielle Hebert guitarist, singer,
composer, born in québec into a
family of artsy fartsy folks, she
started studying jazz and
classical guitar at 13, then she
discovered Hendrix...
Together they are Leoffenders,
they play their music, a blend of
folk-rock-pop (not another one
you think...) but it's different,
really,
the girls are capable players.
Josee is the real deal, she is a
consummate front woman and her
voice is unreal.
Danielle joins in singing and she
too, has this indescribable thing
in her voice, their harmonies
leave everyone wanting more, but
then it does not end there,
because here comes the guitar...
Danielle likes very much to play
it. She likes to solo, to let it
fly, to make it growl, to hear it
sprawl the bent notes and
Santanesque colors.
The live show is an exciting
event, where the music and the
voices soar. They play as a solid
duo with Josee singing and on bass
or acoustic guitar and Danielle
singing and playing guitar.
