Leonardo Radicchi

Bio:

Born in Perugia (Italy). He's graduated with Summa Cum Laude at Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he was studying with, among the others: George Garzone, Darren Barrett, Greg Osby, Bill Pierce, Dino Govoni, Ed Tomassi, Dave Santoro, Mitch Haupers...
In Italy he studied with Maurizio Giammarco, Ramberto Ciammarughi, Michael Rosen, Fabio Zeppetella and David Brutti. He attended many courses and workshops among the others: Berklee Clincs at Umbria Jazz (2000), Viggiano Jazz Workshops (2004),workshops on composition and arranging by James Newton and Bruno Tommaso at Chieti in Jazz (2008). In 2003 he gained the first price of the Narni Black Festival's Blues competition with the band Green Mice.
He performed in many festivals and clubs, among the others: Tutuma Social Club (New York) The Shrine (New York), Ryles Jazz Club (Boston,MA), Berklee Performance Center (Boston, MA-2010), Monterrey Conservatory (Mexico-2010), Casa del Jazz (Rome-2009), Villa Celimontana Festival Jazz (Rome-2008), Barga Jazz (LU-2008), Grey Cat Jazz Festival (GR-2008), Gubbio NoBorders (PG-2008-2009), Siena Jazz (SI-2008), Viterbo JazzUp (VT-2008-2009), Terni in Jazz Season 9 (TR-2008), Grand Tour Jazz Festival (TR-2008), Città Ducale Jazz Festival (RI, 2001-2002), Narni Black Festival (TR, 2003-2007), Trasimeno Blues (PG-2008)





Nato a Perugia. Diplomato con il massimo dei voti presso il Berklee College of Music di Boston; studiando tra gli altri con: George Garzone, Darren Barrett, Greg Osby, Bill Pierce, Dino Govoni, Ed Tomassi, Dave Santoro, Mitch Haupers...
In Italia ha studiato con Maurizio Giammarco, Ramberto Ciammarughi, Michael Rosen, Fabio Zeppetella e David Brutti. Ha frequentato numerosi corsi e seminari tra cui: Berklee Clincs at Umbria Jazz (2000), i seminari di Viggiano Jazz (2004), i seminari di composizione e arrangiamento tenuti da James Newton e da Bruno Tommaso a Chieti in Jazz (2008). Nel 2003 ha ottenuto il Primo premio nel concorso blues del Narni Black Festival con i Green Mice.
