Leon is probably the only man in America to have both recorded with indie-rock legend Steve
Albini and shared a stage with mainstream top-40 country artist Little Texas. He's
penned songs that charted on CMJ, and a lot of others that didn't. He is the inventor of
the Eastern-Western Suit.

sound Waylon Jennings used in 1974, and George Jones' pathos. He envies Johnny
Paycheck's car. Leon's shoe size is 8 ½ — the same size as Merle Haggard's.
