If you weren't one of the privileged who got hold of the incredible 1998 release "Modern" from Leo Nine when they were know as Battered Fish, your chance has now come. For the 10th anniversary, the album has been reissued in digital format (256kbs MP3) as Leo Nine "Modern".
When it was released, Richard Kingsmill (writing for Rolling Stone magazine) said Modern will "slowly reveal its strengths as it unfolds ... investigate."
But the beautiful thing is that for a limited time you can buy Modern for one of a range of prices - just pick a price that suits your generosity ...

'Slow Steady Heart' is the new long player from Leo Nine.
It has been over seven years since the band has released a full album. The last was under the name 'Battered Fish' and that album, 'Modern' was regarded consistently as one of the best Australian releases for that year. Since that last effort, the world has entered a new millenium, the band has gained a new member, Simon Jockel, and changed its name to Leo Nine.
A debut self titled EP was released 2001 and again was highly regarded on both the critical and casual auditory plains. The band has been waiting patiently, though, for the chance to work on another full length statement. 'Slow Steady Heart' was recorded in sections over a 2 year period and refined to its final state in early 2005. The attention to detail and the workload needed to satisfy the band's expectations pushed the members to the edge of their limits.
The result is a grand and incredibly positive sounding recording. The typically darker elements of the Leo Nine sound are still present but are forced from the forefront to the background where they can only temporarily pull focus. The overall impact of the record is one of hope - of something long worn moving outwards from its long, silent sadness... the feeling of new potential. This album is not just a repeat of previous Leo Nine releases. It is a confident step forward from a band that knows where it wants to go.

Hey guys again. I don't want it to seem like I only love you for your music but can I use another of your songs in another YouTube video? (with all the proper attribution and links of course).
The song I'm looking at using is 'Dragging my Head Through Mud' and it's for a silly video of mine where I pretend to be an angst-ridden teenager.
You guys are the best for replying to comments and stuff.
Also, are you guys going to be at Easterfest this year?
