By nature I am a technician. I'm a photographer so am interested in the captured image. I'm a web designer/developer. I'm a writer - more a journal writer these days but a novel has always been something I've thought about writing. As a technician, I will dive into mine and other people's computers to seek out their maladies and (in most instances) fix them. I'm a Jack of many trades.

| | Music |  Music is in my blood. It is as much a part of me as is photography. A musician dwells somewhere inside me. My DC Bebop projects keep me involved in the people and the music. | | Movies | I grew up watching what are now the movie classics. Many are not to be found today. I lament the lack of technology which prevented me from having TIVO. Some all time favorites are "One Touch of Venus", "It Happened One Night", "Arsenic and old Lace", "Night of the Hunter", "The Searchers", "The Shootist", "Law Man", "Valdez is Coming", "Hombre", "Bad Day at Black Rock", "The Matrix", "Shakespeare in Love", "Lost in Translation", "Putney Swope" and I liked "Breaking All the Rules". | | Television | Again, where the heck was TIVO? There are so many programs I would have saved and would be enjoying today. These days I like Battlestar Galactica, Eureka, House, Smallville, Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. Use to enjoy watching Veronica Mars, Eek the Cat and the Dresden Files, but they (like so many other shows) are gone. | | Books | Mostly Science Fiction and Fantasy books. Some mystery novels. Some favorite authors are Philip K. Dick, Roger Zelazny, Hermann Hesse, Frank Herbert, H.P. Lovecraft, Kim Harrison, J.R.R. Tolkien, R.A. Salvatore, Charlaine Harris, George R.R. Martin and Jim Butcher. Pretty much anything dealing with cameras, computers and technology in general.

About me:
A freelance visual chronicler, capturing and cataloging images that stir the imagination.
In junior high school I borrowed my parents Kodak camera and captured images of classmates during a particular day. The images were lost, but they represent the single step that began my visual journey that continues to this day.
From that step, I began photographing objects and vistas to share the color, texture and form of what I see with others.
I fell in love with the art of photography. I learned from reading. I learned from capturing what I saw. I capture images from the perspectives I find interesting.

Capturing the energy and excitement of a live musical performance in images is a best of two worlds experience - both sight and sound.
Along with the fantastic work of James Van Der Zee, I find inspiration in the majectic images of Ansel Adams nature photography.
From my personal slant on life, I see it as a photographic walkabout with each new step bringing to light a new person, place or object to capture.
