Born the son of a preacher, Leon has lived most of his life in and around North Alabama. Leon Venerable started playing guitar at age four. By the time he was six he was on stage at his church. By age fifteen Leon was playing in garage bands that he helped start. He started writing songs at sixteen, about the same time he discovered roping. With these loves and a few others, the singer songwriter set off on one wild journey. Leon’s hobbies include hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. “This project has been a lot of work” he says, “ but it’s been a lot of fun and a life long dream”.
