LEO PORTELA (also named as: Index, Cutlab, Liongold)

Started his career as a live performer and producer of electronic music (downtempo - drum&bass - house) in 1996. His first break came when he joined Argentine label URL Records for releasing his album in 1999. Years later, Leo’s tracks were requested for well known record companies and fine music compilations around the globe. Since 2001 Leo Portela is the motivator for the Electronic Lounge Music division of Argentine record label PMB Music. His fresh soulful and techy sound has become the vibe and original soundtrack for the latin american tv channel Fashion TV, as well as his vocal Deep House music production for the FTV Beach House cd series, making sure the glamour of the station is well represented. Many of his tracks were getting strong support from highly respected artists and djs within the House Music community.

Leo Portela (a.k.a Index, Cutlab, Liongold) es Productor y Live Performer argentino que desde 1996 experimenta con música Ambient, Drum & Bass, Downtempo y House. Sus más tempranas obras musicales fueron firmadas en 1998 para el sello discográfico URL Records de Charly Alberti (Soda Stéreo) para su disco “Telesynchro”. Sus posteriores producciones, ya independientes, fueron editadas y distribuidas por discográficas en Londres, Detroit, San Francisco, New York y Munich. Logrando una buena reacción en el circuito Deep-House mundial se convirtió en el referente de la música con estilo ligada al mundo de la estética, el diseño y la moda motivando a la discográfica PMB - Music Brokers a introducir la musica chill-out en argentina y producir la serie de compilaciones FTV Beach House. Actualmente sus presentaciones como Dj recorren pasajes que varían entre el Deep y el Tech House con estilo Soulful-Jazz y Funk.
