I am a practicing artist and creative consultant in the media industry. As a graphic designer, video journalist, editor and GUI developer, I have worked for organisations such as CIAC, Radio-Canada, Channel Seven and the Quebec Government. I hold a bachelor degree in Visual Arts and I am completing a Master’s Degree in Experimental Media from the famous Ecole Des Medias of Montreal, a leading new media research institution in North America (see http://www.edm.uqam.ca).
I have exhibited my work in galeries in Canada, Europe and Australia and I have curated a few exhibitions. You can watch my short films here: www.youtube.com/igenevieve
After receiving a scholarship to study at post-graduate level in Multimedia at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, I started my own consultancy, Kastor_Fakto interactive (see http://www.kastorfakto.com), alongside continuing to develop new projects and performances as a practicing artist. I speak fluent French! I love my native language. I was born in St-Eustache in Québec, Canada but guess what? I had the travel bug. So here I am Downunder, getting hooked to Hamish & Andy very Australian sense of humor and writing songs for no reason.
